Vanston Place

After a long and complicated construction phase the brown field development on the old laundry site on the Southern Housing Group Vanston Estate just off Fulham Broadway SW6 handed over in late August 2020.

Six new high-end residential units have been created. Originally designed for outright market sale they have now all been sold as shared ownership – off plan. 

BPG Architects + Surveyors acted as Project Managers, Contract Administrators and Quantity Surveyors overseeing the design process and construction phase.

Architects Bell Associates and engineers Clancy Consulting were responsible for the design aspects whilst Buxton Building Contractors delivered the project under a traditional contract arrangement.

The site was incredibly tight, the planning conditions restrictive, the technical challenges kept coming and the estates electrical substation also had to be re-sited.

However, with much patience and perseverance by the whole team the result is excellent with a vacant disused building at the back of the estate transformed into six new stunning properties now known as the Gaumont Apartments.
