The Bu’sen Martial Arts and Fitness Centre is a thriving club in the heart of Twickenham threatened by closure due to redevelopment of the area by the current landlord.
BPG provided a feasibility report for the provision of new accommodation on a derelict site previously occupied by the Territorial Army volunteer reserve and subsequently successfully acquired planning permission for the contentious site.
The design is for a contemporary and sustainable building to achieve BREEAM ‘very good’ standard.
The proposal is a single storey building providing 2 dojo(martial arts) areas of 14m x 4m, a fitness suite, reception, office, physio room, changing facilities, WC’s and refreshments area.
