Chichester Young Persons Hostel

Following a commission from West Sussex County Council in May 2018 to undertake a condition survey of a 1930’s house in Chichester we have now issued tender documents for a fast track internal and external refurbishment project to fully update the property.

The house will now provide  supported accommodation to homeless, or potentially homeless, young people to whom the County Council has a duty to house and would otherwise need to be placed in unsuitable bed and breakfast units or have to enter the care system.

The project will be managed and run by a charity organisation and should be ready for occupation in autumn 2018 bringing back a currently empty property into very worthwhile use.
